Middlesbrough Council on behalf of the four Tees Local Authorities (Stockton-On-Tees, Hartlepool, Redcar & Cleveland and Middlesbrough) are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to work towards preventing suicides and self-harm across Teesside.
Salary: Grade L – £34,728 – £36,922
Hours: 37 hours
An essential feature of this role will be to implement the local multi-agency strategy for suicide prevention across Tees working alongside local partnerships and key partners to ensure that prevention is everyone’s business.
This important role will drive forward key areas for action that will address current suicide prevention priorities that reflects local population needs.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of co-ordinating partnership led work; collation, management and interpretation of data with an excellent understanding of local and national policy for suicide prevention.
You will work to improve mental health and wellbeing outcomes across Tees and will contribute to Middlesbrough Council’s objectives to improve health and wellbeing and tackle health inequalities.
