Tesco Community Grants (blue tokens) are looking for the next round of applications.
The deadline for applications is Tuesday 22 November 2022. Successful applicants will go into stores for voting Jan/Feb/Mar 2023.
Do you know you can reapply for a grant as long as you have spent your previous funding and sent in your completed report?
If you are a national organisation or have a few regional locations, you can apply to more than one region, just look for the nearest one near to where you deliver your work/project.
Get to know your local Tesco Community Champion and ask them to nominate you! You will get notified to complete an application. There is an automatic slot for one nomination per store.
The grant application is really simple, although you must have proof of identity ready to upload onto the form, this can be just from a photo you have taken of your chosen ID, you don’t need to scan any docs. If you are not a charity, you will need to have two contacts prove their ID.
To be eligible to apply you must be from a charity, a community group or school/nursery, Foodbanks, a sports group, resident associations, or any not-for-profit group. Some CICs are excluded, check the website for more information.
The applications are now welcoming any theme that makes a difference but Tesco is still keen to support children, families, loneliness and food insecurities.
You can apply for £500, £1000 or £1500.
