The Fore’s mission is to turbo-charge exceptional small charities transforming lives and society. Their ambition is to fund and support 1,000 small charities in the next five years.

The Fore fund small charities that make a big impact. They offer unrestricted funding to help applicants grow, strengthen, become more efficient or resilient.

Grants of up to £30,000 which may be spread over one to three years are available.

The Fore funds work across the following charitable sectors:

Arts and culture
Disability
Economic development and employability
Environment
Health and well being
Housing and homelessness
Human rights, law and justice
Poverty and disadvantage
Sport
Women and girls
Youth and education.

We see applicants as experts in your own fields. We also know that many of the best people who run small charities don’t have lots of fundraising experience. Our approach is designed to level the playing field.

We are particularly keen to hear from grassroots organisations working with underserved communities. We are proud to have been one of the first grant funders for many of our portfolio charities.

Applications are accepted from the following types of organisation with an annual revenue of less than £500,000 in the previous completed financial year:

Registered charities (including those constituted as charitable trusts, charitable unincorporated associations, charitable incorporated organisations and charitable companies limited by guarantee).
Charitable Incorporated Organisations.
Community Interest Companies (CICs) limited by guarantee.
Community Benefit Societies.
Social enterprises that are charitable companies limited by guarantee

You will be able to register for our Summer 2024 funding round on this page from 12pm on Thursday 28th March to 12pm on Thursday 4th April.
