Two amazing Stockton-on-Tees organisations have been nominated for this year’s National Diversity Awards, which celebrate the excellent achievements of grassroots communities and recognise their dedication and hard work.

Stockton Parent Carer Forum (SPCF) have been nominated for a Community Organisation Award for Disability.

SPCF are a team of nine volunteers who are all parent carers of children and young people aged 0-25 who all have disabilities. They know first-hand the challenges faced by families of children and young people with additional needs and the many disadvantages they face. They give up any free time to help, champion and be there for families in Stockton-on-Tees. You can vote for SPCF HERE.

Sing Your Song True Equality Matters Inclusive Choir (SYSTEMIC) has been nominated for a Community Organisation Award for LGBT.

SYSTEMIC are based in Stockton-on-Tees and was founded in 2020 by Elisha Lowether FRSA. They believe that in a world of systemic abuse and discrimination, their vision of turning the world around is to promote the concept of Systemic Inclusion. You can vote for SYSTEMIC HERE.

Voting closes on Wednesday, 14th May 2025 with the award winners being announced in September 2025. It would be great to see these awards won by a Stockton-on-Tees organisation and we are wishing both organisations the best of luck.
