Daisy Chain is looking to appoint up to 6 Virtual Family Support Leaders. The post holders will be responsible for providing virtual assistance (via telephone and video calls) to families, children, young people and adults affected by autism and neurodevelopmental disorders (this support maybe pre, post and during diagnosis).
Salary: £20,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 Hours per week
Fixed-term contract for 6 months
The provision will involve both emotional support (a ‘listening ear’) and practical guidance as well as signposting to appropriate local (or national) services. AS a Virtual Family Support Leader you will act as a first point of contact for families, children, young people and adults in need of support and carry out initial needs assessments in order to develop bespoke support plans. A knowledge of and experience with safeguarding will also be essential to this role.
