Hartlepower have developed free training sessions with SMB Training, family business, local training provider and tenant of our enterprise unit The Energy Hub. SMB specialise in subjects such as first aid, personal licencing for the hospitality sector and safeguarding and can deliver both face to face and virtually.

Their offer is free community safety awareness training for volunteers/individuals, includes support to get going in Zoom and expertise from a Health Care provider. It’s a one-off session with potential to progress if wish.  There’s no criteria and participants are welcome from across the Tees Valley.

Session Description

An interactive awareness session for volunteers to explore how they cope with looking out for themselves and others in the community with some focus on COVID-19

Including:

  • Confidentiality
  • PPE
  • Infection Control
  • Visiting others homes
  • Being around young people
  • Handling Cash for others
  • Collecting Medicines

The next two dates for the sessions are as follows, SMB are happy to deliver a face to face session if there is enough interest.
