Catalyst has bridged the gap between the public and the VCSE sector by developing the Stockton Volunteers programme in partnership with Stockton Borough Council.
Stockton Volunteers was designed and planned in consultation with many of the volunteer involved organisations in the Borough, ensuring that Stockton Volunteers meets the needs of local organisations and local people. The Stockton Volunteers website was launched 2016 to help bring together volunteers and organisations seeking additional support.

We are delighted to launch the new Volunteering Strategy for Stockton on Tees. Produced in partnership with Stockton Borough Council, the Strategy sets out a vision for volunteering across the Borough and features case studies from the VCSE sector. The Catalyst Volunteer Co-ordinators’ Forum provides an opportunity for those working with volunteers to come together to share ideas and work towards making this strategy a reality.
The website – www.stocktonvolunteers.co.uk – was created by Catalyst in partnership with Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council in 2015 as a way to bring together volunteering across Stockton and help promote volunteering to as many people as possible.
We’re constantly developing the site and new volunteering opportunities are posted on a regular basis. The site also features tips and advice for organisations on volunteer recruitment and management as well as help for those looking for opportunities.
