Wellbeing Practitioners work across County Durham to support people to improve their health and wellbeing. If you have a genuine interest in supporting individuals and groups (aged 16+) with behaviour change in the local community then this role is what you have been looking for. You will work with clients over a period of 8 weeks to facilitate behaviour change particularly in the areas of improving mental wellbeing and reducing social isolation, healthy eating, physical activity and reducing alcohol intake.
Within the role you will have fun, flexibility and be part of a friendly and welcoming team where every day is different and some days it won’t even feel like a job. If you are a self-starter, have a can-do attitude, are organised and can hold a conversation and build rapport within someone then that is what we are looking for – everything else you can learn from our comprehensive staff role specific training programme.
