The national IPC programme

The national Integrated Personal Commissioning (IPC) programme is an approach from NHS England and the Local Government Association to join health, social and other services around a person’s individual needs.

It gives people and their families more choice and control of the resources available to them across the system. This aims to improve their lives through personalised care planning.

100+ new referrals have been made from the health & social care sector into the community.

My Voice, My Choice

The Stockton-on-Tees branding for IPC is called ‘My Voice, My Choice’. This has brought eight new peer support groups into the VCSE sector supporting people in Stockton-on-Tees with long-term conditions. It has created new relationships between primary, secondary and social care professionals with VCSE organisations.
