Youth Providers Forum – March 2024

The Stockton-on-Tees Migration Partnership was established to provide advice to the Borough of Stockton-on-Tees on planning, decision making and strengthening support for migrants, refugee and asylum seeker communities. The establishment of this forum provides a solid foundation for effective community engagement to implement, enhance, monitor and evaluate the services delivered to and for the Refugee, Asylum Seekers and Migrants.

Regular meetings are held once a quarter and attendance is by invitation only.

The purpose of the Forum meetings is to bring together all the Voluntary Community Sector and Enterprise and Refugee Community Organisations to discuss the delivery of services to the Refugee and Asylum Seekers Community. This kind of networking will improve the quality and effectiveness of the current service delivery for new arrivals and those already in the asylum process.

Catalyst and colleagues in the sector identified the need for a specific health and wellbeing forum in order for the sector to come together and develop a co-ordinated, strategic view and plan on how we can deliver health and wellbeing services in the Borough of Stockton-On-Tees.
