Our forums

Voice Forum

Voice Forum is an open meeting for any VCSE organisation either based or delivering services in Stockton-on-Tees. It is an ideal forum for sharing information, discussing issues in the local community and a great opportunity to network with other organisations from the Borough. This meeting is well attended by a wide ranging selection of organisation and services.

Health and Wellbeing Forum

Catalyst and colleagues in the sector identified the need for a specific health and wellbeing forum in order for the sector to come together and develop a co-ordinated, strategic view and plan on how we can deliver health and wellbeing services in the Borough of Stockton-On-Tees. Each meeting focuses on a different area of health and wellbeing, past examples include palliative care and long term conditions & disability.

Multicultural Forum

This Forum provides an opportunity for Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic (BME) communities and organisations that support the BME community living and operating in Stockton to network. We welcome individuals from all different communities, organisations, faiths and backgrounds to attend. This includes those seeking asylum or refugees.

Senior Leaders Breakfast Forum

Senior Leaders is a well attended networking and information sharing meeting, aimed primarily at senior managers and leaders from VCSE organisations active in the Stockton-on-Tees Borough.

Stockton Borough Disability Forum

The Stockton Borough Disability Forum was set up in response to overwhelming support for a forum from the Disability Engagement event. The Forum is for organisations run by and for people with disabilities in Stockton. The meetings focus on they key topics affecting people with disabilities, such as barriers to employment. It also provides an opportunity for organisations to share a little more about who they are and what they do, promoting networking and joint working.

Stockton Borough Environmental Forum

The Forum is open to VCSE organisations from across the Borough, and other relevant stakeholders, making it easier for everyone to take action on local environment issues such as renewable and low carbon energy, community food growing, parks, wildlife and sustainable travel.

Stockton-on-Tees Over 50’s Forum

The Over 50’s Forum is open to any resident living in the Borough of Stockton-on-Tees over the age of 50. Each month has a different guest speaker on topics related to being an older person in the Borough, for example Warm Homes Healthy People and Health Issue in Older People.

VCSE Safeguarding Forum

This Forum was established with the aim to allow VCSE organisations a safe environment to discuss any issues they have around Safeguarding policies and procedures. It also provides the Chief Executive of Catalyst with an opportunity to feedback to the wider VCSE Sector from the Borough-wide Safeguarding Boards. The Forum discusses the Safeguarding of both children & young people and adults.
